Wedding: Winston and Maiesha | Evanston Photographer

This weekend I attended the beautiful wedding of Winston & Maiesha. My sister and I have known Winston for years, and hosted a radio show with him for about a year and a half. We were so thrilled to be guests on his special day.

In December, I did an engagement session with Winston and Maiesha, which you can see here. Although I was attending strictly as a guest, I brought  my camera and wanted to share some of my favorite moments from their lovely ceremony.  Enjoy!

Adventure: My first ad campaign | Evanston Photographer

This year has been amazing for me so far.  I currently have one of my images running in a commercial ad campaign in Western and Central Pennsylvania. It’s being used for web banners and billboards and I’m so thrilled to have this opportunity!

Adventure: AngThong Marine Park, Koh Samui, Thailand

I just returned from a 17-day trip to Thailand. The bulk of the visit was for work, but I spent the last weekend in Koh Samui for some much-needed rest & relaxation. One of the days we took a 1-hour speedboat ride to AngThong Marine Park. We snorkeled, kayaked, ate lunch, and took in the gorgeous scenery. One of the most beautiful places I’ve ever seen. So amazing to have had the chance to see it up close. Here are a few of my favorite shots.

Adventure: Bangkok, Thailand

I’m writing this after a long,  but thrilling day in Bangkok. It has been a beautiful adventure so far. Although I’m here for my day job, this assigment has given me the opportunity to see more of Bangkok than just a Convention Center or hotel room. It’s an amazing city to explore. Here are some iPhone shots I’ve taken on my journey so far.

Adventure: Roycemore Photography Project

Growing up, I attended a tiny private school in Evanston. Classes were small, everyone knew each other, and it felt like family.

Recently my 97-year-old alma mater, Roycemore School, closed the doors on its old building to move to new and improved digs and an updated facility.

Before it did, I wanted to take the opportunity to capture some of the things that were unique about the old building. I enlisted my childhood friend Jackie Schomburg (aka The Mighty Panda) and together we roamed the old school with our cameras to create this special project.

We recently delivered a set of framed prints to Roycemore for their Grand Auction, scheduled for early May. Hoping they will bring back some memories, and raise some funds for the school.
